Terms and conditions
Thank you for showing an interest in booking with Åsa Bell Photography. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions prior to paying the deposit for your session. By booking with Åsa Bell Photography you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking and cancellation
• The deposit for your session is non refundable and payable at the time of booking. Session dates and times are not secured until a deposit has been paid.
• If Åsa Bell Photography has to cancel the appointment, an alternative date will be offered where possible. Where not possible, Åsa Bell Photography liability shall be limited to a full refund of the sitting fee.
• At least 5 days notice is required for Client cancellations. An alternative date will be offered where possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
• For photography sessions involving babies and children, Åsa Bell Photography completely understands that illnesses can develop suddenly. For this reason, should a session be cancelled with less than 5 days notice due to sickness, an alternative date will be offered where possible. Only two cancellations with less than 5 days notice is allowed before the session fee is retained.
• The final balance is due before or on the day of your photo shoot. You can pay online, by bank transfer or cash.
• Prices are subject to change at any time. If pricing changes between booking (defined as the date the session fee is received by Photographer) and the Session, Åsa Bell Photography will honor the prices in place at the time of booking.
Digital Images, Products and Printing
• Your photos will be professionally edited and supplied to you within approx 2 weeks of your photo shoot. Åsa Bell Photography cannot be held responsible for any delays. If you need your images by a certain date please inform Åsa Bell Photography at the time of your photo shoot.
• All images are professionally edited, this includes removing minor blemishes such as scratches and bruises.
• Åsa Bell Photography is not obligated to provide the client with any images that are not already presented to them in their viewing gallery. During the editing stage the images are narrowed down to a gallery of approx 30 images. Those that are not selected are deleted.
• Åsa Bell Photography cannot be held responsible for poor quality prints from highstreet or online printers. Åsa Bell Photography can provide you with professional prints, please contact me to discuss the price of these.
• Åsa Bell Photography will endeavour to keep your files for 6 months.
• During busy times such as Christmas there may be additional waiting time on orders. You will be advised at the time of your photo shoot and given an approximate delivery date.
Use of Photos
• Åsa Bell Photography reserves the right to use any photographs taken during your session in any form such as but not limited to the use in advertising. This includes on Åsa Bell Photography’s website, social media and future advertising campaigns or marketing materials. If you do not want your images to be used for this purpose please inform Åsa Bell Photography prior to your photo shoot.
• The copyright on all images will remain with Åsa Bell Photography. When buying any digital images from Åsa Bell Photography you receive them in High resolution format, with a print release. The images can be printed and reproduced for personal use but not altered in any way (such as using social media filters, cropping images etc.) You are not entitled to use the images for commercial gain or sell images on to a third party.
Returns Policy
• Due to the custom nature of photograph products and downloadable images no refunds will be issued.
Insurance
• Åsa Bell Photography has professional photography insurance including public liability. Safety is the upmost importance during all sessions. Åsa Bell Photography have the right to refuse to attempt any pose or to use props they feel may be unsafe or will put the baby/child at risk of accident or injury.
Personal Information
• Any personal information given to Åsa Bell Photography will only be used for contact between the photographer and the client. Your details will never be passed on to other companies without your consent.
It is my passion to provide a superb service to all of my clients. In order to do so I reserve the right to change our terms and conditions without notice at any time. The terms and conditions are in place to protect Åsa Bell Photography and the client in a professional, legal booking agreement.
